Cupping Evaluation
Cupping Details
The aroma is filled primarily with smoke and burnt sugar. A heavy and aggressive body fills the mouth with a carbon and roast forward experience. Not for the faint of heart; acidity and sweetness are clearly not the intention of this coffee, with all sensory perception turned to the bold and bitter roast flavor. Far from balanced, this coffee may need cream and sugar.

Brewing Evaluation
Brewing Details
Intense in the aroma, with grilled meat and savory notes. There is a very full and heavy body, though rough at times. Acidity is primarily carbonic, but otherwise not present. Roasty malt and burnt sugar pervade the cup, followed quickly by a strong and bold bitterness that finishes harsh and spicy in the back of the throat. An intense experience that is primarily from the roasting process.
