Rich with sweetness, we catch maple, raisins and other dark fruits in the nose moving into a round and decadent body. The acidity is more in the background with mallic, red fruit like an Anjou pear. The sweetness is dominantly fruity with a mix of juicy apple and dark dried fruits. Dark caramel and chocolate round out the flavor as it heads into the finish of nutty cocoa and something reminiscent of a smokey, dry stout.

Brewing Details
In the cup it kicks off nicely in the aroma with dried fruit and hints of baking spices. The body is full and round with a little bit of dryness. In the flavor the acidity comes and goes swiftly up front with mallic red fruit tones leading towards the sweetness of dried fruit, malts and brown sugar. The bitterness ends up being the dominant feature in the brew with baking spices, heavy oak and some nuttiness. As the bitterness fades from the palate we're left with some gingerbread alongide nutty earthiness. This coffee in three words: Earthy - Heavy - Dark Caramel
