Cupping Evaluation

Cupping Details

Beginning with the nose, this coffee likes to show off with whiffs of tropical fruit woven into brown sugar and sweet malt. Articulately balanced, we taste juicy pineapple, light citrus and florals paired with lighter bodied sweetness of vanilla and golden maple, accentuated by its medium, juicy body. Anchoring flavors are a low base tone of gingerbread and molasses, leaving a pleasing linger that deepens until it fades off.

Brewing Evaluation

Brewing Details

Before the first sip this coffee draws you in with scents of vanilla and fruited black tea. Its texture is smooth, flavors carried on a juicy meduim body. Fruit unfolds as it cools, starting with vibrant citrus that mellows into clean tropical fruit notes. The vanilla hints come through in flavor, alongside a light caramel sweetness. The lowest tones reveals the most complexity in this cup, balancing in with a melange of nuts, spices, dark chocolate and a tannic citrus glow the pervades in the aftertaste.
