This coffee opens sweetly, with sniffs of maple, dried fruit and malt. The body is full and smooth, but just a little sticky on the palate. The flavor balance complex, but subtle, making for pretty easy drinking. At it's brightest it is definitely mallic- cidery, round and a little jammy. Caramelly, honeyed and reminiscent of panela sugar this coffee leads with its sweetness, bolstered by the rich and nutty tones of cocoa and peanut butter in the bitterness. As the flavor diminishes it lingers sweetly with hints of caramel and dark chocolate.
