We use a unique “dual rating” system to determine how we rate a particular coffee. This evaluation system uses both the professional analysis that we in the industry call “cupping”, as well as a brewing evaluation of the coffee on an SCAA certified home brewer. These two methods are used to create a more accurate idea of what coffees will taste like at home.
A maximum of 24 coffees are tasted in a scheduled panel, and the number of available slots are reflected in the inventory.
